Carpet cleaning Kent, UK

A lot of costumers these days take it on their own back to try and clean their own carpets as it’s so easy these days to go down your local D.I.Y store and rent a carpet cleaner, but what customers don’t know it’s not as straight forward as this and takes many years to become a qualified carpet cleaner.

We at Humidity Response take great pride in our work to make sure that our customers get the best carpet clean possible.

Our carpet clean process:

Inspection: We start by inspecting your carpet, checking the depth of the soil and for signs of permanent staining.

Fixings: We always check poor fixings as this may increase the risk of shrinkage. We also check the seams because if they are jointed they may split during cleaning through water or heat.

Backings: Carpets have different types of backings which may influence the method of cleaning. For example, some backings are prone to shrinkage and therefore must be cleaned in a specific manner.

The Dye Test: Before any cleaning is carried out, we chemically pH test all colours to ensure the correct cleaning solution is used.

The Fibre Test: Before any cleaning is carried out, we conduct a fibre test to determine the correct cleaning method and also to assist pre-judgement on whether stains are removable.

Once all inspections and tests are complete, our Specialist Technicians can decide on the system and method of carpet cleaning to be employed and we can start the cleaning process.

Dust extraction: We comb pile to separate and release matted pile for a more effective dust extraction. By a using a power vacuum and taking the right amount of time, a carpet can often look as good as new.

Stain removal and deep cleaning: We treat the stains and pre- spray the carpet for deep cleaning. The exact cleaning method we use will have been decided at the inspection stage.

Protection: After the cleaning has been carried we realign the pile and replace the furniture, making sure it’s protected by pads or blocks to stop any moisture affecting your contents.

Upholstery cleaning

When it comes to upholstery cleaning, we have years of experience cleaning all types of upholstered furniture. From sofas to chairs, seats, and cushions our Specialist Upholstery Cleaning Technicians can remove stains, provide deep cleaning services and protect and deodorise all types of fabric and leather.

We take great pride in our work to make sure that the job is done properly. For example, there are many different types of fabrics out there, all of which need to be cleaned in specific ways to ensure the fabric is preserved and not damaged.

Your furniture and any steel or wooden frames, springs padding and webbing must also be treated with the utmost care to ensure that they don’t get damaged during the cleaning process.
