RAPID DRYING
Humidity Response Rapid Drying Technology…
Rapid drying is most certainly talked about within the industry due to its potential to vastly reduce drying times of properties and therefore claim cycle and cost.
So how does our Rapid Drying System work?
Our Rapid Drying System is a piece of drying equipment that works on the following principal. A system that draws in air, heats the air which increases the moisture content each cubic meter of air can hold and injects it into a building to be dried. The building is therefore both heated and pressurised. The hot air chamber created within the building absorbs moisture like a sponge from the wet building structure and moisture is drawn from materials. The water saturated air is then removed from the building by a method of venting to the outside. Air movers circulate a large volume airflow throughout the building. Heat is generated by our state of the art boiler system fuelled by diesel so electrical supply requirements are low. Our equipment is trailer mounted for easy set up purposes.
WE CAN DRY MULTIPLE PROPERTIES AT THE SAME TIME
Our Rapid Drying Systems consists of a diesel fuelled trailer mounted boiler (M50) which heats up between 60°C and 92°C and pumps heat directly into the property with up to 60KW of heat direct from our heat exchanger. Our trailer can dry multiple properties with each property having between 2 and 5 heat exchangers within. This approach makes our system an even more cost effective drying solution with its costs split over multiple properties/claims.
You may ask does this save money?
Significantly reduced drying times. Drying times are reduced from months to weeks or weeks to days. In our experience drying times can been reduced by over 70% compared to using traditional drying methods like dehumidifiers.
Reduced stripping out. The need to ‘strip out’ is often reduced when using rapid drying, especially the sooner it is applied to the property.
Controlled (in and out) drying. Rapid drying is a short and tightly controlled method. The property must be vacated and therefore equipment is not switched off. Diesel fuelled system does not rely on the capacity of the property’s electrical supply (often a limiting factor)
COST SAVINGS
Claim Cost savings: Reducing drying time has huge capability to translate into significant overall claim cost savings in terms of drying costs, business interruption, loss of rent and alternative accommodation.
